GOALS COMPLETED AND
GOALS FOR OUR FUTURE
During my terms as Mayor we have accomplished:
- Dedication of Vietnam War Memorial
- New Water Tanks Dedicated
- Bolsa Corridor & Westminster Blvd. Upgrade
- Helped to find a building and fund a new
Asian- American Senior Citizens Center - Put $50,000 into Boys & Girls Club Facility
- Received Government Funding for 3 new
Affordable Senior Apartments - Public Safety – Police & Fire at best support level ever – Contracts for 3 Years with Police Dept.
- Balanced City Budget – No Reduced Services Or Employee Lay-Offs.
In the most recent term:
- Constructed another Affordable Housing Project an 13th Street for Young Families & Seniors
- Brought a new Community College to our city and insure it is completed in 2005
- Started construction and completed our new community Rose Center.
My goals during the next term as your Mayor:
- Build a new Police Station to replace overcrowded, very old building
- Bring millions to our city in Redevelopment Funds to repair major streets & neighborhood streets. We need to do more.
- Receive funding to help Grandparents Raising Grandchildren and need to help operate this program
- Move forward with Acacia Adult Day Health Care Satellite project for Westminster.
