A Safe City

  • Thanks to our Police Department, Westminster crime rate keeps going down while regional crime is going up.
  • Our Police Department was honored for Project Shield program that protects our children and fights domestic violence.
  • Homeland Security is a priority for our Police who are working with the FBI and other agencies to be prepared for any emergency.
  • Aggressive arrest record - 310 drunk drivers arrested in 2001.
  • Westminster Police Department received a traffic division grant to target dangerous intersections and speeding drivers.
  • Public Works installed Traffic Signal Battery Backup System for safety and also reduced city cost by $50,000.00 a year.
  • Received grant for human trafficking task force.

Strengthening Midway City Sanitary District ensures progress for tomorrow. Our District faces challenges and we must have a vision and a plan of action to achieve results. Please allow me to continue serving as your MCSD Director and use my experience to serve the City of Westminster and Midway City.
